Chemical Film – Chromate Conversion – Yellow Iridite – Alodine

Since VIP has been in business since 1956, we have learned what a competitive manufacturing facility will need in order to cater to customers’ needs. Many companies require chemical film (also known as chromate conversion, yellow iridite, or Alodine) for their parts for a variety of reasons. As a result, Vista Industrial has invested in chemical film tanks in our 8,000 square foot in-house paint shop.We have the capabilities to do yellow/gold or clear chemical film.

Some of the advantages of using chromate conversion on metal parts include the following:

  • Maintain electrical conductivity for aluminum parts
  • Improve adhesion for paints, powders, and primers
  • Prevents Corrosion
