Sheet Metal Fabrication
Punching
Our fabrication facility is equipped with the latest in sheet metal fabrication technology. We feature AMADA CNC-controlled punching machines in both mechanical and hydraulic formats, along with a Finn-Power turret punch with integral right angle shearing capabilities providing you with close tolerance, high-speed punching on an immediate production basis. These machines are equipped with automatic material loaders to increase productivity by allowing these machines to run virtually unattended for up to four hours between pallet changes. Both the hydraulic and mechanical punching machines are able to use special forming tools such as louvers, countersinks, and extrusions to be punched within the program reducing labor intensive secondary operations. These machines are all equipped with fully rotational punching heads, which permits most tooling to be rotated to any punching angle. This technology provides you with a wide range of hole and forming possibilities, with minimal lead time and usually no tooling cost. Forming
We have the machines and experience to process close tolerance precision formed parts. The Amada press is one of the most accurate forming presses in the world. Setup is done very quickly using the computer controlled gauging system. Multi-staging of various flange lengths and widths is common practice. The result is a precision formed part using fewer setups and less labor hours for reduced cost to you. Our machines have up to 125 ton capacity and can form up to 8 feet long. It's the latest in technology with full CNC control. Along with these standard press brakes Vista Industrial Products also has four robotic press brakes that allow parts to be formed with minimal operator involvement. Our normal material range is as follows: Cold rolled steel 24 gauge to 3/16, Aluminum .020 to .187, and Stainless steel 24 gauge to 10 gauge.
